Well, We are at another crossroad in our lives. We are putting our 3 Bedroom, 2 bathroom Condo upon the market next week. Will it sell? Will we find another Home? Will we finally get the Gypsy out of our shoes?? Stay tuned to the same Bat Channel for all the nitty gritty.
This will be our 6th Move in 20 Years here in Nova Scotia. Our Friends after a year or two usually ask us when are you moving again. We have a 1600 sq foot condo in downtown Dartmouth. We really do not need all the space. Also all our eggs are tied up into this property and it would be nice to free up some extra for reinvesting elsewhere.

This property is in a really good location and Ginny can walk to work from here. So to give up that convience is going to be really hard on us. I enclose a few photos of the Condo. We have de-cluttered some. I have put in a gallery a bunch of Folk Art. We went to the Flea-market on Sunday last and sold a bunch of stuff ( gave them away really) but made money. I have also tentatively sold 6 of my Native Art pictures for a tidy sum. We are planning on going to the Flea-Market again in September to get rid of some more stuff.
So will keep you posted on what is happening at " Chez Nous".

Good luck selling your condo mate, in the present downturn with real estate you will need all the luck you can get! We finally sold our home after being on the market for 9 months! OK, it was a huge home and rather expensive, but still. 9 months was agony! Your condo looks lovely too!
Yes, good luck. And it is about luck. My ex just sold his house too quickly. He wandered into the estate agent and said he was thinking of moving and they said they had just had someone in looking for something similar and he had sold it before the day was out. Not at all convenient but with the market so bad you can't afford to let a buyer go.
Your place looks lovely. Like you I am a restless individual, always wondering where to go next. I would love more space for my boys but could only afford that if I moved abroad.
Chris- you are so right about nerve racking. moving can be and having to try to keep the place spic and span. We need all the luck the force can give us. So glad that you managed in the end to sell yours and get your dream home.
RB- thank you for dropping in. Missed you over the summer. It is all a matter of the right person and presto. Well the home prices in Dartmouth are inexpensive compared to the UK. Ours would probably only list for $225,000 cdn.
It looks like a great house. Whats the property market like there? Here its pretty stagnant right now...
Well Mutley, it is mixed. There is a fair number of units selling and so that bodes well. But there is always the chance that it will not sell. If that happens so be it and we stay. We do not have to move to be able to live here.
i hate selling and moving...we have talked about it for years yet remain in the same home basically because i don't want to leave the memories i have there...good luck to you...it's hard work and very stressful...and i don't envy you having to go through it...
What a lovely place !
You may want to move but what a great place to be stuck in.
What a lovely Condo Tarfers. One can feel the love in your home just by looking at the lovely pictures.
We have lived in our home all our married life and like Daisy it holds so many memories for us, but it really is too big for us to manage now, so, when the market improves we wiil sell and move to something smaller.
Also like you there is a lot to be gained financially which will keep us quite comfortable into our old age.
Hope you and Ginny are well, I'll get round to that e-mail someday soon I promise!

PS I've posted another yarn on my blog it's about Mothers-in-Law!Dx
If the condo is that nice, I was the first one to move there.
