We just bought a new 1br Condo today in Dartmouth on the shores of Lake Bannook.
We have been looking for a while it is in a very good location near MIc Mac mall. That means, Dear Mermaid you can walk to all the shoe stores and shop till you drop. G and I, we can continue our walks around the Lake go fishing and canoeing right from the back yard of the building and G could walk to work on good days.
We close in 2 weeks and plan on getting the place spruced up before we move in in March sometime. So we are on the move again.

Kevin- as one gets older you realize you do not need a lot of stuff anymore.

Your condo looks lovely and in a great location, OT. We are loving the snow here in Blighty - it's a rare treat for those with little ones. Have you seen Blue's pics? London is so pretty. Can't compete with the weather in Canada though - Raincoaster reported moose in her front yard I think. I hope you take pics of the canoe races.

Phillipa- I saw the photos and it did look pretty. We have 4 ft snow drifts in places and ice covered roads the snow is so high that it is hard to see over the tops of the snow piles when you are in your car.
We have the world canoe championships coming to lake bannook this year I think as well as the tall ships in halifax harbor in july.
Lilith- we hope so as well. thank you for your good wishes. I hope everyone at chez nous is doing well and healthy. I expect that Pig is thrilled with the snow.
Mermaid- owned 6 rented 2 in 20 years. i guess the two trailers count as well so that makes 10. Hope to see you very soon. Miss you.

Thud- not sure about the good life but a comfortable life. Good life would be in cuba drinking pina coladas all day in the sun.

RB- that is the picture of the actual lobby. The condo is a 1br i just wanted to show an interior picture. You are not any where near the fires that are burning in Aussie at present?
Mutley- the building is 30 years young and that was the style. It is the front reception area once you come in the main front door of the building on the way to the elevator.
No, luckily we are well away from the fires - so very scary. We are in Perth on the West coast.
