We are up to 6 Showings

Nice Home in-between two undesirables.

We have been there before in the last few houses. We had some neighbours from Hell. Been threatened with a bullet in my head on Queen Street from the Witch of Queen Street. Been threatened with death from our other neighbour on North Street. The Airman from Hell about the right of way. Come to think of it both times it was a right of way that caused all the problems, interesting both flew through the Air, one on a Broom and the other in a Helicopter.

So lesson to be learned in this. Do not buy anything that has a right of way or easement.

We are getting a little yancy and want to do something besides clean the house.

Really worried about our friends down in Cuba as Hurricane Ike went right over most of our friends homes in the Santa Lucia and Costa Verde Beach Area.

You are spot on about easements and rights of way. There has been a fashion for buying these up over here and then charging people £3k to get to the houses they've lived in for years.

Feng shui hint. Check the Northwest corner of the appartment and of each room. If they are cluttered or hiding chaos in cupboards, sort them out. If you have a loo here, keep the lid down and door shut :-) Don't knock it till you've tried it...

Chris- thank you.

Lillth-. You are right about the Feng shui. We have decluttered. And keep the loo down. Later today I will double check the NW corners.

We were twice bit on right of ways, never again. Unless it is next to a beer factory and we have the right of way of sampling.

Yes, very sound advice.

I too have had problems with neighbours. We had one who used to creep into our garden at night and piss on our patio. The street held a party when she died - she was THAT bad.

I must write about it sometime - it is amusing now, looking back on it, but it wasn't at the time.

RB- it must of been a great party.

The Air force guy's wife divorced him so forced him to sell his house and move. He loved the house more than his wife and kids. there was a party next door as well I bet with the other couple who bought our Old house.
