Holidays are over-Bearly Alive at Calgary Airport

These are a few pictures of Ginny and I on Day 1 of our visit. We were stuck in Calgary
Airport for several hours due to a major snowstorm. As you can see the natives were restless.

Hey Yogi, have you seen my picnic basket?

We are in process of getting a Web Site up and running so will put the pictures of our trip on that in next week or so.

Ah, the foothills of the Rocky Mountains! I think you have crazier eyes than any bear, Mr Tarf.

GB- Coming from such a gentleman as yourself, that I believe is real a complement. I do like the grizzle look on occasion.

Nice to see you are safely home again... hope you had a really neat time. I see you are not quite as old and grizzly as you made us think you were!

Chris- I can hardly bear all these complements.

Welcome back.

Love those bears.

I remember once at a shopping centre in Portugal there was a big bear a bit like those. Every now and then it growled and its arm moved. My son who was about 3 at the time wandered up to it and had no idea it did those things - well, the minute it growled and went as if to grab him, he shot off across the shopping centre and jumped into the fountain!

Yo Tarfles: So glad your back and glad you enjoyed the holiday.
My ex's family including, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles etc. live in Calgary, they are real Cowboys and have a Ranch there.
The Family name is Christianson. As you know my ex died last year but he managed to get out there 3 years ago, with our youngest daughter, Astrid, to visit his family.
This happened before he was diagnosed with Cancer. He lived out there for a few years, as a child.
In happier days, we almost went out to live there, but something in my heart told me, it wasn't right.
Intuition's a funny old thing, don't you think?

I still havn't e-mailed you, but
will, promise.

I've also posted a little bit of silliness to hopefully amuse you on my site.

Love to you and Ginny.

Thank you, to all of you and the kind words. I am off to the Hospital for some minor surgery tomorrow. I am having my Varicose Veins removed for the 3rd time in 20 odd years. So I may be under the weather or some nice pain killers for the next few days.

Either way I will have Ginny wait on me hand and leg.

Will be around thursday and friday am anyways. so will try to get something up for the weekend.

Looking forward to those pictures.

We lack snow crested mountains in the UK.
