View from the Roof Top Garden At the Condo and from the Balcony

This pIcture was taken on Sunday March 10th showing another snow storm and the view from our Balcony.

Same day just looking in a different direction from the Balcony. We have a water view of the Lake and it is nice seeing all the people walking along the shore line on the new Trail that has ben put in by the City.

Picture of the view up Lake Banook and you can see the Halifax Citadel in the back ground. This is looking down the Lake towards the City of Halifax. these pictures were taken today March 11th 2009. Showing the Lake still frozen solid.

Picture of Across the Lake from the condo towards the West.

Picture of Lake Mic Mac on the other side of the Highway, Looking north.

Picture of the lake without the Telephoto and you can see several of the Canoe Clubs at the end of the lake one on the left and on the right and you can see how big the lake is and the reason for this spot being one of the best rowing and canoeing venues in the world.

Oh wow it looks wonderful. What views you have.

The idea of proper seasons really appeals - green times and snowy times.

It feel so odd to look at snow and a frozen lake when I have just come back from a lunchtime dip in the sea. It has not dipped below 70 degrees during the day the whole time I have been here.

I rather long for snow though!

So glad you have settled in and that you have reappeared in blogworld.

Oh yeah, where's the lake? Haha! It's frozen. LOL! Btw, when it snows, the rooves get covered. Why weren't those houses back then covered with snow? Hmm. It would be cooler if you also took some photos of those.
